Bedford International Athletics Stadium

General Information

Bedford International Athletic Stadium offers a range of conference and training facilities with ample parking, as well as an ideal venue for any social event. Three rooms are available the LOUNGE, COMMITTEE ROOM and LECTURE ROOM, two of which are located on the first floor, with a chair lift facility available. The rooms vary in size and can therefore be tailored to individual requirements. We also cater for buffet lunches and any light refreshments.

Lounge

Lounge

The lounge is located on the first floor, and is the largest of the 3 rooms. It contains a bar area with the kitchen adjacent and opens onto the balcony which overlooks the floodlit athletics track.

This room offers additional facilities such as external phone lines and a fax line (only available on request).

Committee Room

 Conference Room

The committee room is located on the first floor and runs adjacent to the lounge via a partition door. This is an average sized room and is ideal for training or lectures.

For larger meetings and seminars, the committee room offers an ideal setting for buffet and/or light refreshments.

Lecture Room

Lecture Room

The lecture room is located on the ground floor and is ideal for small meetings or seminars. The room is equipped with a screen and there are several power points around the room. Audio and visual equipment is available upon request, as are refreshments.

Social Functions

The upstairs lounge and Committee room offer an ideal venue for any social event, from birthday parties and christenings to wedding receptions and retirement parties. The rooms can be hired individually or together and both have access to the fully licensed bar.

(Please note, we do not cater for 18th or 21st birthday parties).

Our Bar manager can also provide a range of catering and wine for functions and would be pleased to discuss individuals requirements.

The bar is available in normal licensed hours, however an extension can be applied for. Please not a small charge may be made for this, and for wine bought onto the premises a corkage fee is also applicable.

Discos are welcome, but no smoke machines are allowed. (Please note, all equipment must be brought upstairs by hand).

The maximum capacity for the lounge is 100 and 50 for the committee room
